Here are 10 groups with huge age gaps between the oldest and the youngest member:
1. Wanna One
Park Jisung, the oldest member and leader of Wanna One, was born in 1991. Their maknae, Lai Guanlin, was born in 2001. This means that there is a whopping ten year-age gap between the two! Despite the gap, Jisung is known to be a giant fluffball who loves messing around with his younger members and the two get along well!
2. 2NE1
Park Bom and Dara were both born in 1984, which makes them the two oldest members of the group. The maknae, Minzy, was born in 1994, which means age gap between them is 10 years! Unlike most groups, their leader CL is part of the maknae line, as she is seven years younger than Park Bom and Dara being born in 1991.
3. Red Velvet
The leader of Red Velvet, Irene, also happens to be their oldest member as she was born in 1991. Their maknae, Yeri, was born in 1999, which means there is a nine-year age gap between the two! Irene is known for being the mother of the group, having to protect fellow members Wendy and Seulgi from the shenanigans of maknae line duo Joy and Yeri! Despite being the youngest, Jang Wonyoung is the tallest member of the group, standing at 169cm. Kwon Eunbi, on the other hand, stands at 160cm. Oldest member, rapper, and vocalist SeeA was born in 1993, while their maknae Arang was born in 2001.That means the age gap between them is eight years. Unlike most groups, the maknae of the group is actually the leader of the group!
The group had two former members that were both the eldest and the maknae. The former leader and eldest member Aini was born in 1991, while the former maknae Heesun was born in 2005! This means that there is a whopping fourteen-year age gap between the two! Aini left the group in April 2020, citing health reasons. Heesun left the group in October 2019 due to anxiety and depression.

Leader and eldest member Victoria was born in 1987. Krystal, the maknae, was born in 1994. There is a seven-year age gap between the two. Both idols are known for their princess-like visuals and luxurious auras, making them popular in the industry. Fun fact: Victoria is one of the few foreign idols to be the leader of their group!

Eunice, the oldest member of the group, was born in 1991. The maknae, Somyi, was born in 2000. This means that there is a nine-year age gap between the two! The two are both vocalist and dancers of the group.
