The comeback stage of the global K-pop girl group BLACKPINK in "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has been confirmed!

On June 19, the American comedian, actor, and host Jimmy Fallon made a significant announcement at the end of his June 18 show's episode, confirming that BLACKPINK will be joining him next week in NBC's "The Tonight Show," specifically on June 26.

This is going to become the first major stage of BLACKPINK through the show, wherein they will be unveiling their pre-release track, "How You Like That?". The release is the first part prior to the main highlight of their comeback, which is their first full-album release that will take place in September.

Fans are anticipating this pre-release track, as it has been a year since BLACKPINK released a new song. Though it is a comeback that the world has been paying attention to and waiting to see, their appearance to the show will be going to be through a virtual stage, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Through a video broadcast, fans in the US will be able to enjoy the show with Jimmy, while still practicing social distancing.

Thus, fans are rest assured that aside from promoting internationally through the means of technology, they will have their time to promote in Korea as well.

Meanwhile, "Jimmy Fallon Show" is a late-night talk show hosted by actor and comedian Jimmy Fallon, the No. 1 US talk show in viewer ratings. It is one of the most popular programs in the US, featuring influential politicians such as Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Donald Trump, as well as world-renowned superstars such as Lady Gaga, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Ariana Grande.

This is just proving then that BLACKPINK is not a K-pop idol group only, but is already a global group heightening their influence and career even in international countries. BLACKPINK is currently carving its name, particularly in the US market. In 2019, they became the first K-pop girl group to perform on the US largest music festival, "Coachella Valley Music and Arts," a massive step for them to be known widely among US fans.

In addition to this, they were able to appear in the popular US shows as well, such as "The Late Late Show with James Corden," "Good Morning America," and "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," during their promotion for their 2019 mega-hit song, "KILL THIS LOVE."

Furthermore, despite no music promotion, BLACKPINK x Lady Gaga's collaboration song, "Sour Candy" entered Billboard's Hot 100 Top 40 arena, making them the first K-pop girl group to reach that milestone.

Aside from the song, fans, particularly BLINKs, are also curious about what kind of concept they will see through the song's music video, now that the teaser photos and videos of the members are already uploaded on their official social media accounts.

In addition to this, they are set to communicate with their fans all over the world through "24/365 with BLACKPINK," their first-ever Youtube reality show.
