ATEEZ's Seonghwa won't be participating in KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER this week due to his injuries. On June 23, the band's agency released an official statement on their fan cafe.

The letter reads:

"Hello. This is KQ Entertainment. 

We are writing about the hip joint injury of ATEEZ member Seonghwa and his involvement in the prospective project schedule. Seonghwa felt pain above his hip joint throughout a new modern dance practice.

He was screened in a health clinic specializing in his condition and was soon diagnosed with a mild sprain. Although it is a minor injury, the medical staff has instructed him to limit vigorous activities for approximately two weeks, so that the wound does not exacerbate or recur.

Seonghwa will only actively participate in the meet and greet segment of KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER on June 26 because the performance will be incredibly hard for him.

We will soon notify all of you if Seonghwa participates in the forthcoming KCON:TACT 2020 activities via the schedule posted on the official site.     

We ask for supportive consideration from fans, and kindly give support and encouragement to Seonghwa so he can make a quick and full recovery."

KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER is a streaming and pre-taped entertainment marathon broadcast that will be streamed for seven days straight (June 20-26).

Every fan can anticipate seeing a variety of performances, meet-and-greet conferences, behind-the-scenes content and footage, the material of artist + influencer partnership, and panels of influencers, such as those who can be encountered in person at KCON events.

Production will occur directly at Mnet's Seoul studio, and a part of the money generated from the event will be transferred to the UNESCO Learning Never Stops campaign to help thousands or even millions of children across the globe, who are greatly affected by COVID-19, pursue and continue their education.

MONSTA X, GFRIEND, The Boyz, IZ*ONE, LOONA, PENTAGON, Golden Child, AB6IX, NATURE, and TOO will dominate the digital stage. 

The ten bands will play live throughout the broadcast of KCON:TACT, except NATURE, that will actively engage themselves in the digital meet-and-greet sessions with the fans and viewers.

About the abovementioned lineup of performers, the other main bands everyone should look forward to at the KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER are Kim Jae Hwan, Kang Daniel, MAMAMOO, EVERGLOW, VICTON, ONEUS, Kim, VERIVERY, CRAVITY, and Natty.

Online meet-and-greet segments with supporters will include the bands Stray Kids, MAMAMOO, VICTON, ONEUS, VERIVERY, CRAVITY, and JO1.

The online festival has also officially confirmed its third and final roster!

(G)I-DLE, VICTON, Chungha, ATEEZ, SF9, ITZY, TXT, BVNDIT, Oh My Girl, ONF, ASTRO, and N.Flying will deliver their performances during the live concerts streaming.

VICTON, ATEEZ, SF9, ITZY, TXT, Oh My Girl, ONF, and N.Flying will also actively participate in meet-and-greet events.
