EXO Kai Reportedly to Debut as a Soloist This Year
EXO Kai is reported to debut as a solo artist this year. He is the fifth member of EXO to do so.
According to news1 on Thursday, Kai is working on a solo album with the aim of releasing it on the second half of this year. Also known as Jongin, Kai started his career as a member of the group EXO in 2012. Since then, he has been consistently gaining admiration not just in the South Korea but all over the globe.

He is now taking on a new challenge as a solo artist, eight years after his debut. It is the fifth solo debut in the group after Baekhyun, Chen, Suho and Ray who have been successful while working on their own solo projects.
As Kai has been recognized for his outstanding performance in EXO, expectations are rising for his solo debut. In addition to EXO's activities, Kai is also active in showing off his talents through acting and entertainment. Thus, people are excited as the singer takes another leap in his career.
With this, EXO-Ls are currently making a noise online showing off their excitement towards the initial report.

Kai was originally from Suncheon, South Jeolla Province, South Korea and have been known to love dancing at a young age. As a matter of fact, the dance machine was a trained Ballet dancer therefore giving him a different grace while executing his dance prowess on stage.

After winning the SM Youth Best Contest, he signed with SM Entertainment in 2007 while he was only 13. He was officially introduced as one of the members of EXO on the 23rd of December in 2011. He was also selected as one of the "K-Pop Super group" SuperM in collaboration with Capitol Records.
