Introducing OUI Entertainment's Upcoming Boy Group, WEi!
OUI Entertainment announced back on July 10 that they are officially gearing up to debut a new boy group. They shared a mysterious teaser image onto their social media site with the word "OUIBOYS" alongside the names Jang Daeheon, Kim Donghan, Kim Yohan, and Kang Seokhwa.
Later that same day, the agency revealed the official name a logo of the group! The group is called WEi (pronounced "we-i") and is rumored to be making their debut in the latter part of 2020.

Jang Daehyeon
Daehyeon is the oldest member of the group and was born on February 11, 1997. Fans may recognize him for his appearance on Mnet's "Produce 11 Season 2", where he ranked 83rd.
Following his appearance on the show, he debuted in the project group RAINZ as the main rapper. On August 24th, 2019, he debuted as a soloist with the song "Feel Good."
His official position has yet to be revealed, but people speculate he will be the group's main rapper.
Kim Donghan
Kim Donghan was born on July 3, 1998. Like Daehyeon, he also participated in Mnet's "Produce 101 Season 2", where he ranked 29th. Following his appearance on the show, he debuted in the project group JBJ.
Following the group's disbandment, he debuted as a soloist on June 19th, 2018. He won his first music show win that month.
Prior to his debut, he had learning aikido, hapkido, and was in two dance teams - he was first in The Face before joining DOB.His expected position in the group is the lead vocalist and lead dancer, though it is currently unconfirmed.
Kim Yohan
Kim Yohan was born on September 22, 1999. People most likely recognize him for participating in Mnet's "PRODUCE X 101", where he won first place and debuted as the center of X1. Following the group's disbandment, it is said that he will be pursuing an acting career alongside being an idol.
Before his debut, he was a taekwondo athlete who was qualified to join the Korean national team. He had received a scholarship for taekwondo but turned it down to pursue his dream of being an idol.His expected position is a lead rapper, vocalist, center, and face of the group.
Kang Seokhwa
Kang Seokhwa was born on December 1, 2000, making him the maknae of the group. Fans may recognize him for appearing on YG Entertainment's survival show "YG Treasure Box." After he was eliminated from the show, he appeared on Mnet's "PRODUCE X 101" as an independent trainee, signaling his leave from YG Entertainment. He ranked 35th place on the show. Additionally, he was a former JYP Entertainment trainee.
Fans speculate he will be a vocalist in the group.Other than these members, it is rumored that Kim Junseo and Yoo Yongha from 1THE9 will be joining the lineup after the project group disbands, but nothing is confirmed yet.

Kim Junseo
Kim Junseo was born on November 20, 2001. He was a participant on Mnet's "Under 19", where he ranked 9th among the 19 trainees, earning him a spot in the project group 1THE9. In the show, he was ranked as the top visual and 5th in fashion.
His expected position if he were to join the lineup would be lead vocalist, lead dancer, rapper, and visual.
Yoo Yongha
Yoo Yongha was born on January 11, 1999. He was a participant on Mnet's "Under 19", where he ranked 6th place among the 19 trainees, allowing him the chance to debut in the project group 1THE9. He was ranked 11th in fashion amongst the trainees on the show.
Before his appearance on the show, he auditioned for "The Unit" but didn't pass. He was part of a busking group called Liberty.
Since he is 1THE9's leader, some suspect Yongha could be WEi's leader as well. His other probable positions include lead rapper and vocalist.
