YG Entertainment's Rookie Boy Group TREASURE Unveils MV Debut Teaser
TREASURE finally unveiled their MV debut teaser, fueling fans' excitement!
The rookie boy band from YG Entertainment captured the attention of local and global fans after releasing behind-the-scenes footage of the concept teaser for their first single album, "THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER ONE," with nine days left before their official debut. The label further released the "TMI-Concept Teaser Shooting Site" on its official blog and TREASURE's SNS channel on the 29th.
The concept teaser released earlier is a video linked to TREASURE's identity, which was inspired by innovative events that contributed to human development, drawing attention to how the group will take their first step toward the global market with their talent and luxurious visuals.
The boys, who met on the set, exhibited extreme charms that go back and forth between charisma and cuteness. The video began with greetings from Choi Hyun Suk, Yoshi, and Haruto, the rapper line.
Doyoung and So Jung Hwan started to study expressions with their ID cards. "It's so much fun," the two said, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Asahi, who followed suit, transformed himself into a doctor, playing the concept of "Edison's invention of light bulbs." In particular, he showed off his golden hair and clear features, flaunting his charming face. Yoon Jae Hyuk showed off his angelic cuteness by looking directly at the camera.
Bang Yedam was impressed by the success of "Standing the Eggs of Columbus" at once.
In an interview with the production team, he explained the symbolic meaning of god. "It's my first time walking on glass," Jun Kyu said, expressing his excitement at his personal shooting.
Their cheerful energy continued. While filming the scene, Ji Hoon and Park Jung Woo showed off their own tiki-taka chemistry, betting on who was faster.
Park Jung Woo captured Choi Hyun Suk's swaggy look, while the youngest So Jung Hwan summarized what he felt was today's observation diary. He said, "Bang Yedam sings when he is sleepy, Yoon Jae Hyuk's eyes become round when he is sleepy, and Jun Kyu is always Jun Kyu," giving a big laugh until the end.
After the concept teaser shoot, the members showed further growth by sharing their thoughts, saying, "It was fun" and "I should study facial expressions more."
TREASURE plans to release a series of new songs by the end of this year, YG said in a fan announcement. "It is a promotion similar to the one that released a single every month at the beginning of Big Bang's debut in 2006."
