ATEEZ is About to Go on another Adventure in New Reality Show
ATEEZ will be entertaining fans with a new adventure reality show!
On October 22, the group's company Kakao M made an announcement that the K-Pop boy group will be starring in a new reality program titled ATEEZ Fever Road. It is said that this forthcoming project will touch on the aspects of the ATEEZ universe.
Kakao M said, "Apart from displaying the charisma and chemistry of the ATEEZ members, who will be performing a broad range of missions, the program will be a new and distinct adventure reality show that will expose the ATEEZ universe and its carefully-created plot." The agency also said that they are planning on making eight segments, each of which will be almost 15 minutes long.
"ATEEZ Fever Road will focus on the group finding a 'secret space' where an unknown figure had left several missions for the members two years ago. In connection with this, the artists are required to play an array of games in order to unravel the mystery and find out the reason why particular events are happening.
Park Hye Jin will be the producing director of the said reality show. The PD shared that numerous Korean artists have been giving more interest to their storylines and universes. And like them, ATEEZ has caught a lot of attention because of its unique and thoroughly-structured universe. She added, "Please show lots of interest on 'ATEEZ Fever Road,' which will showcase both the members' everyday lives and their stories within the ATEEZ universe."
"ATEEZ Fever Road is scheduled to air for four weeks, every Monday and Thursday at noon (KST). It will kick off on October 26.
ATEEZ's Poster For Upcoming Reality Show
The K-Pop boy group's new reality show marks ATEEZ's fourth show overall. Also, it is their first after more than a year since their ATEEZ Treasure Film which premiered on September 25, 2019. Their previous reality program consisted of three episodes, each of which is almost an hour long. It was filmed in the United States and Australia.
ATEEZ members starred in two reality shows even before their debut, along with the other trainees. In 2018, trainees of Kakao M were called KQ Fellaz, which was also the title of the first reality program. It was composed of 19 episodes that presented KQ Fellaz training in Los Angeles, US.
The second reality show prior to debut is entitled "Code Name Is ATEEZ, which featured the members who will finally debut as ATEEZ, namely Seonghwa, Yeosang, Mingi, Hongjoong, Yunho, Wooyoung, San, and Jongho. It comprised 8 episodes that were broadcasted on Mnet YouTube Channel.
At present, ATEEZ has released its fifth extended play entitled "Zero" Fever Part. 1 on July 29. It includes seven tracks including the lead singles "Inception and "Thanxx. The group received several awards with the former song. Additionally, their latest album earned a platinum certification on the Gaon Albums Chart after selling more than 340,000 physical copies in South Korea. And because of this album sale, ATEEZ was able to hit a total of one million sales, making them the second boy group of the fourth generation reach a milestone.
