WATCH: TXT Drops Official Music Video for 'Blue Hour'
TXT has finally returned with their third mini-album "minisode 1: Blue Hour"!
On October 26, the K-Pop boy group released the music video for the album's title track entitled "Blue Hour. Falling under the disco genre, the song is co-written and co-composed by LIL 27 CLUB, Slow Rabbit, Kyler Niko, and 'hitman' band (Bang Si Hyuk). All five TXT members also took part in the lyric-writing process, not only in the lead single but also in the other four songs of the new album "minisode 1: Blue Hour.
The lyrics of the song shows the boys' mixed emotions of amazement and fear as they look up at the sky at 5:53 p.m., which is when the sun sets in October, the month TXT song is being launched. Also, this is the time of the day when the sky is most beautiful, but at the same time, it is when the shadows are swiftly cast on the land, and darkness is everywhere.
TXT's third mini-album "minisode 1: Blue Hour" marks their first comeback after five months since their second extended play entitled "The Dream Chapter: Eternity, which was released on May 28. The new album is composed of five tracks, particularly "Ghosting, "Blue Hour, "We Lost The Summer, "Wishlist, and "Way Home.
Ahead of the comeback, the press reported that the third mini-album will serve as a short installment told by the TXT members before they proceed to their next series. The Korean boy band had already concluded their 'Dream Chapter' series, which started with the group's debut extended play "The Dream Chapter: Star, followed by "The Dream Chapter: Magic," and ended with "The Dream Chapter: Eternity."
Last October 6, Dreamus, an album distributor, shared that the pre-orders for "minisode 1: Blue Hour were more than 300,000 copies in just ten days, making it the highest album pre-orders for TXT.
