GFRIEND Successfully Holds First Online Concert

The girls of GFRIEND successfully held their first online concert, streamed via the community platform Weverse. The concert lasted for an hour and 30 minutes. There, the girls impressed fans with their sharp choreography and upgraded vocal skills.

The concert started with their song 'Labyrinth', which was released nine months ago as a B-side to 'Crossroads.' The song allowed the girls to set the vibe of the concert, leaving fans in awe with their energy, their visuals, and their talents.

For those who miss their cuter, brighter concepts, the next few songs are perfect for you. The girls dived into hit songs 'FINGERTIP,' 'Rough,' 'Navillera,' 'Glass Bead,' and 'Me gustas tu,' showing their powerful performance. The girls of GFRIEND prove they still have the same energy and synchronization as they did when they debuted five years ago. In fact, they might have even gotten better!

The girls also performed more fan-favorite songs, such as 'SUMMER RAIN,' 'Sunny Summer,' 'Fever,' 'Apple,' 'Stairs in the North,' 'Sunrise (Ballad Ver.),' 'Crossroads,' Time for the moon night,' and 'Here we are.' Fans were also able to have a first-time listen to unit songs. Sowon and Umji formed one unit and san 'Better Me,' a song with a more mature, darker vibe that matches the two's personalities.

Eunha and Yuju formed one unit and sang 'Night Drive', a chill, slow-jam song that showcases the skills of GFRIEND's main vocalist.

Lastly, SinB and Yerin formed the last unit and sang 'Secret Diary', which perfectly showcases the pure and innocent looks of the two cuties in the group.

The girls also decided to spoil a little bit of their new album, 'Walpurgis Night,' which is set to be released on Nov. 9, 2020. The girl gave a sneak peek at their upcoming song, 'Mago.' During the concert, Eunha revealed her hope that the album will be a success. This is GFRIEND's second album following the merger of Source Music and Big Hit Entertainment.

In between songs, the girls took time to catch their breath and talk to fans. Though it was a one-way interaction due to the lack of a live audience, GFRIEND still took the time to interact with their BUDDYs. In response, the fans of GFRIEND would respond through the real-time chat window.

GFRIEND is a six-member South Korean girl group that debuted in 2015 under Source Music. The group consists of Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji.
