The three most-viewed K-Pop music videos in 24 hours this 2020 has been revealed, and they only belong to one girl group and one boy band.

On Wednesday, Dec. 16, K-Pop Radar issued its "K-Pop Radar 2020 Year-End Data" and it includes the most-viewed music videos of Korean artists within 24 hours after its release. In particular, only one girl group and one boy band made it to the list!

Launched by Space Oddity in August 2019, K-Pop Radar gives objective data by observing and analyzing the size, growth, and accomplished milestones across social media platforms of artists' fandoms. They take note of the number of followers a soloist or group gets within a day, as well as record the real-time views of music videos. The result for the "K-Pop Radar 2020 Year-End Data" is based on the reviewed data gathered from Jan. 1 to Nov. 30.

The third most-viewed K-Pop music video in 24 hours for this year is "Ice Cream" by BLACKPINK, featuring the American singer Selena Gomez. Just one day upon the MV's release, it already gained a total of 79 million views. The achievement stemmed from the MV surpassing 10 million views in less than three hours since its launch. It was dropped on August 28 at 1:00 p.m. KST and around 3:55 p.m. KST, the video has achieved the milestone.

"Ice Cream" is now BLACKPINK's second most-viewed music video in 24 hours. Also, it is the fastest for a Korean girl group to reach 10 million views in a short time, beating their personal record of three hours and 40 minutes with "How You Like That."
