Taemin, the youngest member of SHINee, drew mixed emotions from fans as he allegedly hinted at his military enlistment.

On March 29, SHINee Taemin, the main dancer and lead singer of the prominent K-pop group, communicated with fans through V Live broadcast.

Known as the "Spoiler King" of the quintuplet group, Taemin shared some details about SHINee's upcoming repackage album as well as his solo comeback, which will be released in the late first quarter of the year.

However, what captured the attention of K-pop enthusiasts, particularly Shawols (fandom), is the speculations of him hinting at the timing of his enlistment.

On March 30, various Korean media outlets, including SBS Entertainment news, reported on the possibility of SHINee Taemin's military enlistment this summer.

Taemin, who greeted and said hello to fans, expressed his genuine heart saying, "I miss you," adding, "You miss me so much, right?" and fans, " I want to see you even if I'm watching you."

"It's good. (fans' hearts) are too warm with me. This summer will be hot. It might be better because I'm not present," he said, indirectly referring to the timing of his enlistment.

Soon after, Taemin, who was looking at his manager for a moment, said, "Please enjoy it. Please watch me a lot, like me a lot, and love me a lot. I didn't know what to say because I haven't appeared in a long time. But, I wanted to tell you before anyone else. If I suddenly heard the news on schedule, I would feel bad (if I am a fan)."

In particular, he will be the last member who will be enlisting after Onew, Key, and Minho, who all finished their military enlistments in 2020.

In response, K-pop fans and supporters of Taemin, specially Shawols, expressed different views about the report.

Some fans are expressed that it is good if Taemin will enlist now as "the faster they enlist, the faster they could be discharged and reunite with the members again."

On the flip side, other fans are conveying their sadness through comedic responses such as "Middle school students are not going to the military," "We are good at waiting, but we don't want to send them," and "Taemin is still a middle school student in my memory."

Fans in online communities also talked about how SHINee basically raised Taemin, which is from sending him to school, is now set to send their youngest member to the military together.

SHINee Taemin Flaunts Healing Voice for tvN's "Navillera" OST "My Day"

The OST of "Navillera" titled "My Day" is finally released on this day, showing off SHINee Taemin's healing vocals.

"My Day," sung by Taemin, is comprised of comforting lyrics that revolve around various stories about the "day" everyone has.

The song was officially released on March 30 (today) at 6 p.m. KST through various music streaming sites. In the drama, viewers can also listen to Taemin's voice at the introduction and ending ment of the first and second episodes.
