WJSN Releases a 'Hidden Film' for 'Unnatural'
A few days before the official release of their ninth mini-album "Unnatural," WJSN and Starship Entertainment released a "Hidden Film" for the album.
Originally posted on the afternoon of March 26, the Hidden Film - which runs of a little over a minute - features the ten-member WJSN seemingly posing for a photoshoot. The closeup images of the members - Bona, Yeoreum, Dawon, Dayoung, Exy, Luda, Soobin, Yeonjung, Eunseo, and Seola - show off their incredible visuals, raising the stakes before the official release of "Unnatural" at the end of the month.
The Hidden Film creates a dreamy sequence with its various transitions and the images of the members getting a light sepia filter, with the ensemble completed by an equally mysterious background music.
Some of the scenes include Luda posing against a matrix of numbers, with a clear closeup showing her classy visuals; or Dayoung's teaser showing her charms biting into one of her fingers as she fixes her stare. With the latest teaser, WJSN only drives the concept of the mini-album further, one of maturity with an emphasis on confidence instead of the shyness they present in their previous works.
The Hidden Film for "Unnatural" ends with the words WJSN and UNNATURAL separated by the mini-album logo, followed by its release date on March 31.
"Unnatural" will be a six-track mini-album, led by the title track of the same name and followed by "Last Dance," "Super Moon," "New Me," "YALLA," and "Don't Forget (My Universe)." Members Exy and Seola participated in the songwriting and composition of the songs in the ninth EP, further growing from their participation in "Neverland," the group's previous mini-album. Additionally, WJSN worked with a number of Korean hitmakers for this album including Chris Wahle, MosPick, MAKECAKE36, KZ, and Full8loom.
