EXO IS BACK: Boy Group Drops Much-Awaited 'DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING' Album and Music Video
EXO has finally returned after more than one year with their special album "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING"!
The supergroup has also revealed the music video for the album's title track of the same name.
EXO Makes Long-Awaited Comeback with "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" Special Album
On June 7 at 6 p.m. KST, EXO officially made their highly-anticipated comeback with their "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING." This special album is their first group release in approximately one year and six months since their sixth studio album, "Obsession," released in November 2019.

In this comeback, only seven out of nine EXO members were able to participate. Chen and Suho are still completing their mandatory military service.
And, although Chanyeol and Baekhyun are also in the military at the moment, they were able to take part in the album preparation before their enlistment.
Another notable aspect of this comeback is the participation of EXO member Lay. The last release he was featured in is the group's 2018 album, "Don't Mess Up My Tempo."
EXO's "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" is composed of the title track of the same name, along with four more songs: "Paradise," "Hook! (No Matter)," "Runaway," and "Just as Usual."

As of writing, EXO's special album has sold more than 337,000 copies on Hanteo Chart. It has now taken over the No. 2 spot on the group's list of highest first-day sales. Their previous second-highest record is 269,801 with "Obsession."
If the special album would surpass 405,000 copies today, "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" would hold EXO's new record of highest first-day sales. The current holder of the record is the "Don't Mess Up My Tempo" album with 404,721 copies.
EXO Reveals "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" Music Video
Along with the album is the release of the music video for the title track "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING."
EXO's "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" is a dance song with a refreshing rhythm, heavy bass, and synth sounds. The lyrics, which hitmaker Kenzie wrote, emphasizes the charm of the youth and encourages the listeners to trust themselves and keep on moving toward the future if ever they face tough decisions in life.

In the music video, EXO members are seen in an aircraft carrier in outer space, which the group previously showed in the spoiler video they released this past April. Unlike before, it is noticeable that Sehun has more lines for this song.
Toward the end of the music video, seven EXO members - Baekhyun, Lay, D.O., Chanyeol, Xiumin, Sehun, and Kai - are seen in one place with the use of XR (Extended Reality) technology.
In just four minutes after the "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" MV was released, it impressively gained more than 477,000 views and over 100,000 likes.
Before the official music video came out, the MV teaser for EXO's "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" has become the most liked and most commented from SM Entertainment.
The music video teaser exceeded 3.1 million views with more than 700,000 likes and 145,000 comments. With the comments surpassing 100,000, EXO now joins BTS, BLACKPINK, and TWICE as the only K-pop group to reach this milestone for an MV teaser.
