Coming in at #8 on Forbes "Cash Kings 2012: Hip-Hop's 20 Top Earners," Nicki Minaj is the definition of what it is to be a successful business women. In an industry consumed by men, Minaj has managed to obtain a piece of American pie by grasping the attention of major corporations. Let's take a trip down memory lane of the star's major endorsements and financial triumphs.

Although it wasn't Nicki's first cosmetic adventure, MAC was her most successful one. She sponsored a pink shade from the MAC Viva Glam line that became the #1 selling Viva Glam lipstick of all time. The best thing about it is that proceeds go to the AIDS Fund.
Minaj's biggest endorsement to date was said to be with Pepsi. The multimillion-dollar deal made her the face of the Pepsi soda called "Pop," that launched last Spring. The endorsement included a commercial filmed in South America.
For their Fall/Winter 2012 campagn, Adidas called on Nicki to be the "It" girl.
Last Fall, Nicki Minaj officially joined the judging panel of the hit show "American Idol." Although her spot on the show was shortlived, it was definitely a money maker. The rapper made $12 million for just one season on the TV talent show.
Back in January it was announced that the female MC was breaking into the fashion industry by starting her own clothing line with Kmart. Being the doll that she is, Minaj gave the process an interactive approach, giving her fans a chance to voice their opinions. As a result, she came up with an awesome collection full of bandage dresses and printer bomber jackets. Now she is calling upon all fans to submit slogans for T-shirts that are going to be an addition to the line.
Right after officially announcing her departure from American Idol, Nicki Minaj is reportedly venturing of into world of booze. The leader of the Barbz will become the fresh face of a new wine brand called Myx Fusions. She also has part ownership of the alcohol company.
