No EXO and SNSD? SMTOWN Reveals Attendees & Schedule for the Annual 'SMTOWN WONDERLAND 2021'
Dubbed as the "Met Gala of K-pop," the annual SMTOWN WONDERLAND finally revealed its attendees and schedule!
According to SMTOWN, its artists Super Junior, SHINee, Red Velvet, NCT and aespa will be present at the party, raising more anticipation.
Sadly, while SM stans are ecstatic about the party, some wonder why EXO, SNSD, TVXQ, and more are not in the lineup.

Launched in 2013, SM Entertainment's "SMTOWN WONDERLAND" is an annual Haloween party, anticipated yearly by K-pop enthusiasts.
On October 29, 2021, SMTOWN, a musical collective for artists under SM Entertainment, announced it will finally hold the annual celebration, following its postponement in 2019 and 2020 due to the coronavirus.
In the released "Coming Soon" poster, the schedule and participants were revealed, drawing mixed reactions.
'SMTOWN WONDERLAND 2021': NCT, aespa and More to Attend SM's Halloween Party
Who will be the winner for this year's SM Entertainment's Halloween party? On Friday, SMTOWN dropped its poster for "SM Halloween House," an annual event held by the company.
Known as "SMTOWN WONDERLAND 2021," the party features stars under the agency, clad in costumes that reference their favorite international celebrity, fictional characters and more.
In this event, not only do the interactions of these K-pop artists excite fans, but also the best costume winners who often spark hilarity among the attendees and viewers.

This year, the annual offline party is back and was announced through a poster.
In the poster, it was confirmed that the event will be held on October 31, and will feature members from Super Junior, SHINee, Red Velvet, NCT and aespa.

No EXO, TVXQ and SNSD? Fans Ask Why None from These Groups Groups Will Attend
While SM stans rejoice with the announcement, EXO-Ls and SONEs are curious why none from EXO and SNSD will attend the event.
In the previous years, the two groups never missed the Halloween party, and even competed for the "Best Costume" trophy.
Aside from them, BoA, TVXQ, other SHINee members Minho and Key, Red Velvet Joy, Irene, Seulgi and Wendy, as well as NCT Winwin and Lucas were also not on the list, disappointing fans.
As a response, many shared that the absence of the aforementioned artists could be related to their individual schedule, while some also guess that it could be related to vaccine and mass gathering concerns.
