On various online communities, a number of articles titled "IU seem to be in a relationship" have been posted.
In particular, people speculate that IU's recent songs are tracks with sweet lyrics and melodies. Compared to the past, the "LILAC" singer has more songs about happy love rather than breakup and confession songs.
According to one uploader, the song "Strawberry Moon," released in October, is an example of a song full of love.
In context, the song was also described how fantastic it is by comparing what happens inside a person who is in love to a large strawberry-colored moon. The MV also shows IU's concept of being happily dating someone.

Prior to this, IU's fifth full-length album released in March is also comprised of a lot of love songs such as "Flu."
Some of the lyrics from the song that gained interest from internet users are, "Oh, I fell in love like a fool again" and "I have to suffer from you for a long time."
Moreover, IU, who recently sported a new hairstyle, also gained praise for her upgraded visuals.
As a response, the majority of her fans and web users voiced support.
"If IU says she is dating, I will cheer for her," "I hope she will be happy to meet a good person," "I feel loved," and "I'm a fan of IU, but I agree that she should date," internet users responded.

Meanwhile, IU, who is turning 30 next year, is one of the most loved personalities in Korea; thus, a lot of people are focused on her dating life.
From the former "Nation's Little Sister" to "Nation's Sweetheart," IU captured not only fans' hearts but celebrities' hearts as well.
However, in the past, IU only had one confirmed relationship and it is with Jang Ki Ha in 2015.
