9-Member Project Girl Group Comprised of Red Velvet, IVE, ITZY, STAYC, Brave Girls & Oh My Girl Members to Debut at 'KBS Gayo Daechukje' 2021
A project girl group that consists of nine female idols from six prominent groups will debut at KBS Gayo Daechukje! Members from Red Velvet, Brave Girls, Oh My Girl, ITZY, STAYC and IVE will unite to provide a splendid performance!
On December 15, KBS provided further details and special collaborations that K-pop enthusiasts must look forward to ahead of its annual "Gayo Daechukje" (Song Festival) which will be held on December 17.
From Red Velvet to IVE: 9-Member Project Girl Group to Debut with a Perfect Cover of Girls' Generation's 'Way to Go'
According to the news, nine members of six girl groups Red Velvet, OH MY GIRL, Brave Girls, ITZY, STAYC and IVE will form a project unit for the upcoming event.
Described as "the birth of the nation's most beautiful girl group in name and reality," it is expected that the project group will not only flaunt their charms but showcase their skills as well during the modern reenactment of Girls' Generation's cheering song "Way to Go."
The goal is to spread positive energy and message of cheers to K-pop fans wherever they are.
SEVENTEEN Seungkwan and DK to Perform Duet Song at the KBS Gayo Daechukje 2021
Along with the project girl group, Seungkwan and DK from the "million-seller" group SEVENTEEN will also show a special stage, proving their position as the two of most powerful singers among K-POP male idols.
DK who recently starred in the musical, "Xcalibur" received massive attention for his powerful singing skills will exhibit perfect synergy along with Seungkwan who is recognized in the music industry for his hit OST tracks for dramas such as "Hospital Playlist 2."

"The collaboration stage of K-POP's representative girl group with a warm comfort stage and a message of strong support from SEVENTEEN's vocal team to everyone in the world will be touching in the cold winter," said KBS.
As a result, expectations are high on what duet song they will perform through the KBS 2021 Song Festival.

Meanwhile, KBS 2021 Song Festival, which will air at 8:30 p.m. on the 17th, will be hosted by visual idols Cha Eunwoo (ASTRO), Seolhyun (AOA) and Rowoon (SF9).
This year, K-POP singers and fans will be able to meet due to COVID-19, and a special gift will be delivered to viewers with this year's theme, "WITH," which means to cheer up and move forward together.
During the event, star-studded K-pop groups will show the power and influence of K-pop with the special performances they prepared.
The first lineup will include Red Velvet, OH MY GIRL, Kang Daniel, THE BOYZ, Stray Kids, ITZY, TXT, ENHYPEN, aespa, Lee Mujin.
The second lineup is then comprised of SEVENTEEN, SUNMI, NU'EST, Brave Girls, ASTRO, NCT U, SF9, Kim Woo Seok, STAYC and IVE.
