J. Cole Responds To Miguel's Epic Stage Dive Fail [Watch Video]

'I never even thought about anything serious"

With the epic fail of Miguel's Billboard Music Award stage dive that resulted in the face slamming of Khayti Shah, who could file a lawsuit due to brain damage, even rapper J. Cole was left flabbergasted.

It was at radio station Power 105.1 in New York where J. Cole first heard about the possible lawsuit due to the Miguel Karate Chop.

J. Cole, rapper of "Powertrip" featuring Miguel, responded in a state of shock.

"Noooooooooooo. That's real?  Nah, that's not good. You know that tho, I never even thought about anything serious.  I was just laughin' [when the performance happend]. I'm not thinking like [the lawsuit would get this bad for Miguel]."

Watch J. Cole speak on Miguel's head kick lawsuit below:

After Miguel's head kick went viral and lawsuit talk surfaced, a Billboard production rep told TMZ that "producers believed it (the jump) was too dangerous."  Despite the warning, Miguel jumped .

However Miguel, "Adorn" singer, has a different story.  He told Us Weekly that no producers told him not to jump.

Despite the pending "Karate Chop Lawsuit," the health of Shah is Miguel's highest priority.

The singer's rep told US Weekly:

"A number of attempts were made to reach Khyati and her lawyer after the performance to see how she was doing and whether any assistance could be offered. Khyati's well-being has been and continues to be of the utmost concern to Miguel."

J.Cole's "Power Trip" featuring Miguel is currently #20 on Billboard's Hot 100 List.
