aespa Karina Selected as the 'Ultimate Femme Fatale' Female K-Pop Idol
From January 12 to January 19, Top Star News Star Survey held a poll titled "Who is the ultimately homme fatal/femme fatale K-pop star?" The poll asked their readers to select which male K-pop star is the ultimate homme fatal and which female idol is the ultimate femme fatale.

Among the female nominees, aespa member Karina took first place. The "Savage" songstress received 63,340 votes out of the total 187,720 votes cast. Karina has consistently topped the Top Star News Star Surveys, doing so for eight weeks in a row now.

Karina, who made her debut as a member of aespa in November 2020, is receiving lots of love and support from domestic and international fans. The girl group received international recognition with their debut, "Black Mamba," and continued to gain more fans with the release of "Next Level" and "Savage."

aespa released a remake of S.E.S's "Dreams Come True" in December 2021. In January 2022, Karina and Winter debuted in the supergroup GOT (Girls on Top) the Beat with BoA, Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Seulgi and Wendy.
Red Velvet member Irene ranked second place, while Wendy ranked third. TWICE's Tzuyu ranked fourth, Kep1er's Chou Yujin ranked fifth, Secret Number's Dita placed sixth, Kep1er's Kim Dayeon ranked seventh, Kim Sejeong placed eighth, ITZY's Yeji placed ninth, and IU ranked in tenth place.
