Super Junior Heechul Vaguely Refers to Ex-Girlfriend TWICE Momo on 'Knowing Bros'
Super Junior member Heechul indirectly mentioned his ex-girlfriend, TWICE member Momo.
On January 22, actress Kang Ye Won, rapper Lee Youngji and influencer Free Zia (Song Ji Ah) appeared as guests on the JTBC program "Knowing Bros."
During the episode, Lee Youngji confessed that she had a crush on Layone, a fellow rapper and previous "Show Me the Money" contestant. Upon hearing this, Lee Jin Ho asked, "Is it possible for me to do business with my ex or my spouse?" Kang Ye Won replied that if it was a win-win situation for both parties, then it is possible.
To this, Kang Ho Dong questioned Kang Ye Won, "Even if you have a boyfriend now, can you work with your ex?" Kang Ye Won replied calmly, saying they did not have to say they previously dated.
Kang Ho Dong then turned the question over to Kim Heechul. The male idol sighed before saying, "If the other party faces no damages, then I think we can do it together."
Lee Jin Ho then asked Kim Heechul if he could do a duet with his ex. Heechul's face turned red as he laughed in embarrassment before saying, "Isn't it possible that my ex is not a singer?"

Timeline of Super Junior Heechul and TWICE Momo's Relationship
On January 1, 2020, reports stating that Heechul and Momo were dating were shared online. Their agencies soon confirmed the news, stating that they were seeing each other with mutual feelings.

Before the announcement, however, rumors of a relationship between the two have already made their rounds. In 2016, Heechul confessed that his ideal type was Momo and did not hesitate to confess his feelings to her and other celebrities during variety show appearances. Moreover, during a video in 2018, Momo stated that Kim Heechul had taken care of her and the other TWICE members since their debut.
The male idol was seen fanboying over her aegyo on "Weekly Idol" and knowing her part in "Cheer Up" perfectly on "Knowing Bros." Momo even appeared in a music video for Heechul and Min Kyung Hoon's song, proving their close relationship.

However, on July 8, 2021, it was reported that the couple had split after a year of dating. The reason is due to their busy careers and how they naturally drifted apart. Their companies both confirmed the reports, with Label SJ stating that they cannot divulge details on the break-up as it is the artists' private life.
