Seori Set To Appear On Grammy's Global Spin Series

On February 1, a teaser video for "Grammy's Global Spin Series" was released through Seori's official Twitter account. In the 30-second teaser video, Seori is seen wearing a modern reinterpreted Hanbok costume which shows attractive colors that matches her eyes. Aside from that, Seori sings an excerpt of her single "Lovers in the Sky."

The "Grammy's Global Spin Series" is a performance series designed to promote a variety of notable global music by the Grammy, which is showing a change in acceptance of the diversity of music around the world.

Moreover, Seori is the second Korean artist and the first female Korean artist to appear on the "Grammy's Global Spin Series."

In celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday, Seori is expected to fascinate music fans around the world wearing her hanbok and singing "Lovers in the night" in front of the beautiful Deoksugung Palace.

Seori is a singer-songwriter who is in the spotlight for her unique musical color. After joining in 88Rising, she performed on the stage of "Asia Rising Together" and "HITC Festival." She also participated in the OST of Marvel movie "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings," Warriors.

With her participation in the singing of the Marvel movie OST, Seori's musical talent gets recognized all over the world.

Moreover, she is the only Korean to be selected as "Notable Artists of 2022," announced by VEVO, an American music media service.

The main video of "Grammy Global Spin" in which Seori participated will be released on February 1 at 10 AM (PST) and February 2 at 3 AM (KST) through the official US Grammy website and related social media and YouTube channels.

Seori Gets Recognized by NME

Singer-songwriter Seori has been recognized as a promising prospect for 2022 by NME. She was proudly listed in the lineup of "The NME 100: Essential Emerging Artists for 2022," announced on January 7 (local time) through the official website of NME, a famous British music magazine.

"NME 100" introduces new artists who will dominate the global music scene in 2022. The artists were selected by NME's writers and producers around the world. Seori was nominated for the NME 100 along with her title track "Lovers in the Night."

NME introduced Seori as "a singer who will take you to a new world with heavenly R&B pop music." The magazine also mentioned that the texture is similar to that of Billie Eilish and Lorde. They added that "Seori is an amazing vocalist, singing various emotions such as loneliness, romance, and sadness, giving a rich feeling."

On November 29, 2021, Seori released a live video of "Tango" duet with American singer Abir and a live video on the VevoDSCVR YouTube channel and attracted listeners around the world with her unique music color. Moreover, she collaborated in MAMAMOO Moonbyul's 3rd mini album pre-release single "Head to Toe," revealing a wide spectrum of music.
