aespa Winter's fancam video of girl group GOT the beat's "Step Back" is becoming a hot topic. On January 29, a video titled "GOT the Beat Winter fancam 4K 'Step Back' | @MCOUNTDOWN_2022.1.27" was posted on the M2 YouTube channel.
The video shows GOT the beat Winter performing "Step Back" and her skills in both singing, dancing, performing and charisma stood out really well, proving she's #1 "Hexagonal Idol" in the K-pop scene among female idols.
As a brief context, Winter won the title as a result of a survey held by StarPlay. "Hexagonal idols" are artists who can perfectly play other roles or positions, aside from what is given to them. In the case of the "Next Level" singer, she can be both the main dancer, main singer, main rapper and main visual due to her "all-rounder" skills.
But aside from her talents, the reason why the video became truly viral was due to the video thumbnail that M! Countdown chose for her. While the other six members look regal and fiery in their fancam's preview images, the youngest member Winter's thumbnail showed her squishy side instead.
The video even got a nickname now and it was called the iconic "Pucca Winter fancam." As of February 4, the video gained about 6 million views, which is higher than the combined views of Winter's fancams so far.
In response to this, the netizens said, "Wow, look at the number of views...", "A legendary fancam has been created," "Pucca Winter...This is a revolution" and more.

On the other hand, GOT the beat, to which aespa winter belongs is a project girl group launched by SM Entertainment on Jan. 1, 2022. It consists of leading idols from the same agency, such as BoA, Girls' Generation Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Red Velvet Seulgi, Wendy as well as aespa Karina and Winter.
Although the group didn't actively promote on music broadcasts, GOT the beat showcased their impact as they received their second #1 trophy on Feb. 3 on "M! Countdown." They got their first win on the SBS music program "Inkigayo," which aired on Jan. 30.
