Sandara Park Flaunts Sneakers From BIGBANG G-Dragon: Why Is It 'Special'?
In a new YouTube vlog, Sandara Park unveiled her luxury shoes collection for the first time in public. Among her sneakers, a few pairs given by BIGBANG G-Dragon attracted attention from K-pop enthusiasts.
In particular, former 2NE1 Sandara Park, also known as Dara unveiled her sneakers collection through Part 2 of her "Online Housewarming" vlog uploaded on her YouTube channel, "DARA TV." The "I AM THE BEST" singer, who initially revealed she have more than 1,000 pairs of shoes, showed some of them, which was displayed in her new house.
Among them, certain pairs of sneakers attracted attention from viewers as they were revealed to be given by BIGBANG G-Dragon (GD), a close friend of the female star, who was also linked to her with a romantic relationship for a couple of times in the past.

In particular, the vlog is like the continuation of her special appearance on MBC's "I Live Alone," where she shared her life after living alone for the first time in 38 years. In the episode, the "FIRE" singer unveiled her life as a maximalist. In her YouTube vlog then, Sandara Park was seen introducing a luxury shoe rack full of limited edition sneakers.
"It's the sneakers section that I worked hard on the most. There's only Nike here. In fact, besides this, there will be five to six times more shoes in my house," Dara surprised viewers. She went on by showing shoes she collaborated with luxury brand Off-White, singer Trevis Scott and BIGBANG GD.
Sandara particularly flaunted the shoes gifted by the male icon and unveiled reasons why it is special. "There is yellow swoosh which was painted by GD himself, also red and white swoosh, which were limited editions in Korea."
In addition to this, when she chose the shoes that will most likely be sold at the highest price, Dara picked the sneakers with a yellow swoosh from GD.
"It's not a purchase, but I think I can sell it for tens of millions of won at reselling price now," Dara said with a happy and teasing smile.

In particular, former 2NE1 Dara and BIGBANG G-Dragon initially started with a junior-senior relationship as they were co-artists under YG Entertainment before the former left the company in 2021.
Through collaborations and interactions, K-pop enthusiasts were intrigued due to their chemistry and closeness, eventually speculating a romantic relationship between the two stars. YG Entertainment denied it along with Dara and GD. The BIGBANG star reportedly responded with a laugh, while Dara clarified on a broadcast that the idol is just like her little brother.
In 2021, Dara indirectly explained that it is impossible that she dated the idol, revealing that she didn't date any colleague in the past.
