The Boyz Eric Shares Astounding Number of Practice Hours the Group Spends Per Day
On Feb. 7, the full interview of The Boyz with @star1 magazine was revealed. The boy group was chosen to grace the cover of the publication's February 2022 issue.

In 2021, The Boyz saw a big change in their career. Not only did they win multiple music show trophies but they also broke their sale records with their two latest albums "THRILL-ING" and "MAVERICK."

Since the 11-member band had notable achievements last year, star 1 grabbed the chance to ask about the secret to the group's growth.

The Boyz Haknyeon responded that 99% of their accomplishments are thanks to The B (their fandom) and the remaining 1% is their effort.
On the contrary, New said that he thinks 100% of their achievements are actually because of their effort. He explained that they have been working hard this time and that they had a lot of practice lately.

In addition to what New said, The Boyz Eric shared how many hours the members practice in a day. He stated all of them would practice 16 to 18 hours a day during the time they were competing in Mnet's "Road to Kingdom."
"Road to Kingdom" is a 2020 competition TV show that pitted seven boy groups to get the chance to compete in "Kingdom: Legendary War." The Boyz successfully finished in first place after gaining 95,765 total points.
The Boyz Eric told @star1 during the interview that as soon as he wakes up in the morning, he would go directly to the practice room and practice until night. He continued that he barely takes a nap and that the only time he takes a break is when eating and using the bathroom.

Eric went on to say that The Boyz practices 14 hours a day on average. He concluded that he finds it surprising he didn't escape from practicing this long.
Meanwhile, Kevin said that the secret to The Boyz's growth is probably the different charms of the 11 members and that they can pull off any concept. As for Sangyeon, he stated that the members' trust in each other is the main reason.

The Boyz Members End Quarantine After Recovering from COVID-19
In other news, all of the members of The Boyz members have now been released from quarantine.

In January, The Boyz Ju Haknyeon, Eric, Younghoon and Sangyeon all entered self-quarantine after receiving a positive test result for COVID-19.

On Feb. 6, IST Entertainment released an official statement to announce that the idols' quarantine period has finally ended. But, the members will continue to rest for the time being and the agency will also continue to monitor their health and safety.
The Boyz released the special digital single "Candles" in December before the four members were diagnosed with COVID-19.
