BIGBANG T.O.P. Updates on his Status after Leaving YG
Last February 7, YG Entertainment declared that T.O.P. has departed the management agency after 16 years. They clarified that T.O.P. wanted to widen the scope of his activities and not just only promotions with BIGBANG. The agency added that he will be taking on the challenging roles of being an artist and a businessman.
Moreover, the agency clarified that T.O.P. will still be a part of BIGBANG and he will participate in the group's future activities whenever he can, beginning with their much-awaited comeback in spring.

Then, the following day, T.O.P. posted an update on his Instagram Stories letting fans know how he has been since the news of his departure from YG Entertainment surfaced.

He first posted the word, "HAPPY," then he followed it with another photo with the caption, "I'm so HAPPY" after a few hours.

T.O.P. is also known as Choi Seung Hyun, he is one of the renowned celebrities in K-pop. Aside from being a good singer, he is also known as a songwriter and prominent endorser for different products.
Apart from singing and songwriting, BIGBANG T.O.P.'s has appeared not only in K-dramas but also in some movies. He starred in dramas like "Secret Message" and "I Am Sam," he also appeared in films like "Commitment," "Nineteen," and "Out of Control."
BIGBANG Comes Back After Four Years
Last February 7, BIGBANG declared that they will be coming back to the K-Pop scene this coming spring after their four years of hiatus because of the members' mandatory military services.
"BIGBANG will drop a new song in the coming spring," YG Entertainment said in a press release. "The group has completed its recording for the new song and is going to film a music video for the song." The date of the group's return and the title of the new song, is still unknown as of now.
BIGBANG debuting as a five-member group in 2006, since then, they released a number of hit songs, such as "Lies," "Last Farewell," "Fantastic Baby" and "Bang Bang Bang," once again leading the K-pop music's Asia-wide popularity.
BIGBANG's 'Fantastic Baby' Hits 500 Million Views on YouTube
On January 25, BIGBANG's "Fantastic Baby" music video surpassed 500 million views on YouTube. The Kings of K-Pop achieved this milestone after 10 years since its release in 2012. Furthermore, this achievement gathered attention from VIPs worldwide.
Moreover, "Fantastic Baby" is now BIGBANG's second music video to hit 500 million views following "BANG BANG BANG."
As of February 9, BIGBANG's YouTube channel has 14 million subscribers and it has 6,923,213,822 cumulative views
YG Entertainment will be giving more updates on BIGBANG's long-awaited comeback in spring. But reports say that the Kings of K-pop have already finished the recording of their new song and they will proceed to making of its music video.
