Lee Chanhyuk Introduces YG 'Lines' + Singer Claims BLACKPINK, AKMU Are in Same Line
On tvN's "The Game Caterers 2," which aired on February 25, PD Na Young Suk visited YG Entertainment to challenge its artists with various games.
Among YG stars, SECHSKIES Eun Jiwon, WINNER Kim Jinwoo, Song Mino, iKON Song Yunhyeong, Kim Jinhwan, TREASURE Jihoon, Choi Hyun Suk, AKMU Lee Chanhyuk, and BLACKPINK Jennie appeared in the show.
There, the YG artists introduced the greetings of each group, expressing jealousy of how cool their respective greetings are.
The maknae group TREASURE energetically shouted, “FIND YOUR TREASURE!” iKON then responded, "Get Ready! Showtime!," making their junior group impressed.
When TREASURE praised their seniors, saying, "iKON sunbaenim's slogan sounds cool," Yunhyeong returned the favor and conveyed that they are cool as well.
When BLACKPINK Jennie's turn came, she expressed, "We actually don't have a slogan, so we just say, 'Hello, we're BLACKPINK'."

Hearing this, Lee Chanhyuk, a member of the duo musician AKMU, instantly responded, "There is actually something called YG lines, and we go like 'BIGBANG - WINNER - iKON - TREASURE', 'AKMU -BLACKPINK'. We are in the same line."
In context, "line" in K-pop means a collection of groups or idols in the common field, with something in common.
Not sure of what he was saying, BLACKPINK Jennie, expressed shock and burst into laughter when Chanhyuk clarified, "I mean there are YG groups who have slogan and groups without."
Na PD also laughed and added, "Is BLACKPINK called AKMU Line? This is how we get to know each one of them."
SECHSKIES Eun Ji Won joined the light atmosphere and comforted AKMU and BLACKPINK by saying, "In fact, this is all my line. I don't have a greeting either."

In the broadcast, the YG Entertainment artists initially showed an awkward atmosphere among one another. However, BLACKPINK Jennie lit up the studio upon her arrival, making the other male idols stand up to greet her.
Eun Ji Won and Yunhyeong immediately loosened up and made others laugh when they confessed, "This is the first time I meet Jennie in person."
Yunhyeong then approached Jennie and offered a shaking hand, followed by Ji Won, completely breaking the tensed atmosphere.
Jennie also agreed and shared, "I joined YG in 2010, and among them, Jinwoo (WINNER) is the (co-artist) I've known for the longest."
