Hong Kong Magazine Reveal BIGBANG T.O.P Will Release Debut Solo Album
On March 2 KST, luxury-lifestyle magazine and media outlet Prestige Hong Kong unveiled to fans the celebrity for the cover of their March issue through their social media, and gracing this month's Prestige Hong Kong cover is none other than BIGBANG member, T.O.P, also known as Choi Seung Hyun.
This marks T.O.P's first time in five years to be featured on a magazine, as well as his first official promotion since his enlistment and discharge from his mandatory military service back in July 2019.

On the Hong Kong-based magazine's post on social media, they shared a photo of the BIGBANG member, who is sporting bleached hair, with his eyes scattered along the photo in a ripped and scrapbook-type aesthetic.
Accompanying the photo, Prestige Hong Kong reveals that T.O.P's March issue will be talking about the rapper's lengthy hiatus from the public eye, his love for art and music and how it helped him overcome the difficult periods in his life, as well as his new passion for changing perceptions on mental health.

In particular, the magazine also dropped the bomb that T.O.P revealed more of his future plans with the magazine, which include releasing his debut solo album after 15 years of being in the industry!
This will mark T.O.P's first time to release a solo album since his debut in the industry back in 2006, as well as his first music release in several years.
In fact, the last time T.O.P promoted as a solo artist was back in 2015, when he lent his voice for the official soundtrack of the Japanese drama "Secret Message," which T.O.P himself starred in.

Prior to that, T.O.P's last official solo release was in 2013, with his single "DOOM DADA."
However, further details regarding T.O.P's upcoming solo album, such as its release date, has yet to be revealed.

BIGBANG T.O.P Parts Ways With YG Entertainment
In other news, back on February 7 of this year, T.O.P's exclusive contract with YG Entertainment had expired, and that the BIGBANG member decided not to renew his contract, thus parting ways with the label after being with them for more than two decades. However, he will still be participating in BIGBANG's activities.
In addition, YG Entertainment also announced that BIGBANG will finally be making a comeback sometime in spring with a new song for the first time in four years.
