Best-Selling Albums in Korea (February 2022): TREASURE's 'THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE' Ranks #1
According to Gaon Chart, TREASURE's first mini-album "THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE" sold a whopping total of 617,748 copies, the highest album sale figure in February.
Aside from ranking No. 1 on Gaon's Monthly Album Chart, the mini-album also topped Gaon's Monthly Retail Album Chart after selling a total of 504,035 copies.

"THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE" is the only K-pop album that reached half a million sales on both Gaon charts last month. What's more impressive is that the mini-album arrived on Feb. 15, meaning its monthly sales for February were only tracked for almost two weeks.

After its release, TREASURE's "THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE" was the No. 1 best-selling album in Korea for Week 8 of 2022. It then became the second best-selling album in the following week.
The Kit version of TREASURE's first mini-album and their first studio album "THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT" landed on Gaon's Monthly Album Chart for February 2022 as well. They secured No. 31 and No. 100, respectively.

STAYC's second mini-album "YOUNG-LUV.COM" achieved the second-highest album sales record on Gaon in February after selling 212,211 copies.

This total sales amount was tallied for only eight days since "YOUNG-LUV.COM" came out on Feb. 21, making this a remarkable achievement for STAYC. Additionally, the sextet joins TREASURE as the only act to sell more than 200,000 copies last month.

In the first week of its release, the mini-album ranked first on Gaon's Weekly Album Chart for Week 9 of 2022, demonstrating its instant popularity in Korea.
STAYC's "YOUNG-LUV.COM" made it to Gaon's Monthly Retail Album Chart as well. It placed No. 5 with 66,154 copies.

The third best-selling album in Korea in February 2022 is NMIXX's "AD MARE," which sold 161,312 total copies. "AD MARE" is just the girl group's debut album, so the fact that it entered the Top 5 of Gaon's Monthly Album Chart only shows that the rookie group has established a big fandom in their home country.

NMIXX's debut single album also entered Gaon's Monthly Retail Album Chart at No. 2 with 174,688 copies.
The other K-pop albums that complete the Top 5 best-selling albums in Korea are Girls' Generation Taeyeon's "INVU" and BTOB's "Be Together."
While "INVU" took No. 4 with 129,783 copies, "Be Together" charted at No. 5 with 113,485 copies.
