On March 12, iKON released a surprise cover of TREASURE's "JIKJIN." Many were surprised and impressed by the cover.
Additionally, the return of a particular member has sparked attention online.
Which member? Why, it is the group's main rapper, sub-vocalist, and face of the group, Bobby!

Bobby
Bobby has not been in the public eye since August 2021.
On August 20, 2021, Bobby took to Instagram to announce his upcoming marriage with his unnamed finacée. He also revealed that his fiancée was expecting their first child in September 2021.
In September 2021, YG Entertainment announced that the couple had welcomed a son.

Due to Bobby's absence from the limelight, many were surprised to see the idol return to the group. Many welcomed his return and praised the idol for his never-ending star aura.

During iKON's cover of "JIKJIN," Bobby opted to write and to perform his own rap instead of executing the original rap of TREASURE. Bobby is known as one of the best songwriters and rappers in the K-pop industry. Therefore, it makes sense that he would perform his own rap, because it suits his own style.

People believed Bobby is not the type of artist to mimic other people's styles, which moved him to write his own rap.

Others complimented Bobby for his dancing and hand movements. The idol still retains his swagger and love for music. People also praised Bobby for being one of the best performers in the industry.
iKON Draws Praise For Cover of TREASURE's 'JIKJIN'
Besides Bobby, the other iKON members also earned praise for their performance. Jay and June earned recognition for their vocals, DK earned praise for his dancing, and Chan drew compliments for his energy.

People pointed out that TREASURE's music was similar to iKON, and "JIKJIN" could easily be mistaken for an iKON song. Many joked that this proves that "Only YG artists can cover YG music."
