Girls' Generation Taeyeon Speaks on Ship With WJSN Seola
On March 31, Taeyeon held an online fansign for the release of her third studio album, "INVU." During the event, a fan had asked her about WJSN member Seola. Specifically, they mentioned that Seola had stated she wanted to have a dating rumor with Girls' Generation member Taeyeon and asked the latter what she thought of the situation.

Taeyeon responded that it would be okay as long as SONEs (Girls' Generation's fanbase) are okay with it but added, "You guys don't like it, right?"

The fan told Taeyeon, "But I am okay with the Seola dating rumor!"
This caused Taeyeon to laugh. Then, after a moment of thought, Taeyeon expressed her feelings about the potential dating rumors, saying, "With Seola? Then it's fine!"

Rumors first sparked about a dating rumor concerning Taeyeon and Seola after the latter was asked about it during a live stream through Naver's V Live. As Seola was reading the comments, she was shocked to find that there was a dating rumor between her and Taeyeon.
In response to this, Seola simply replied, "I wish it were true."

During the same fan sign, Taeyeon was asked if she was aware of the dating rumors between her and VIVIZ member SinB. Taeyeon responded that she was aware of the rumors.

Following Taeyeon's response, the fan revealed that SinB refused to explain the dating rumors between them. Taeyeon stated, "Then I will do the same."

On March 13, SinB held a live broadcast through Naver's V Live. SinB was asked to explain the dating rumor between her and Taeyeon during the live stream. In response, the idol calmly said, "I will not explain it, sorry!"

In the past, the two were linked after allegedly sharing "couple posts" on Instagram. This includes the two female idols using the same phone case and wearing the same dress.
