IVE Wonyoung, who is currently a target of mockery and hate comments shed tears after a fan conveyed their heartwarming message to the idol. Here's what they said.

On April 18, a DIVE (fan of IVE) took to Twitter to share a clip with IVE Wonyoung. As soon as the video was uploaded, it amassed over 29k likes, 12.3k quote tweets, 24.4k retweets and became viral on the social media platform as well as other online communities.

IVE Wonyoung Shed Tears Due To Fan's Sincere Message To Her

The reason it caught the attention of both K-pop enthusiasts and netters was due to the "ELEVEN" singer's reaction while the fan was conveying their heartfelt letter.

In particular, during the fan sign call, the international DIVE opened up about their struggles, saying:

"These days, I got a lot of stress and my mood is not that well. That's why I'm really grateful to Jang Wonyoung that I can be happy by seeing your photos and performances."

The fan highlighted how Wonyoung became one of their sources of happiness and conveyed. They really looked forward to being with the idol and thanked her for making them forget (their struggles) even temporarily.

The fan added:

"I am not good at speaking Korean, but each time, I would take down something in my notes in advance. My pronunciation is also not that accurate, so you may have a hard time understanding what I'm saying."

Nevertheless, in the video, the young idol was seen listening carefully to every word being said to her, showing how sincere Wonyoung was to every fan she'd encounter. It's also noticeable how the "Love Dive" singer is already teary-eyed.

The fan concluded:

"Just like what I have said, my life is not enjoyable these days, but despite that, I look forward to things with the thought of meeting Wonyoung. I'm really happy right now. Wonyoung, thank you so much. I'm glad that I became your fan."

Just then, Wonyoung's tears can't help but roll down as the fan shared their genuine wish for her.

In response, supporters of Wonyoung expressed their comfort for the idol, and also thanked the fan who only shared heartwarming words about the singer.

Internet singers emphasized that the message is what Wonyoung really needed right now, amid multiple rumors surrounding her. Fans pointed out that Jang must be struggling a lot to cry like that, even though she didn't react that way when IZ*ONE disbanded.

For context, Wonyoung recently became the center of malicious commenters questioning her attitude, expression and personality.

On the other hand, in regards to malicious comments circulating the IVE member, Starship Entertainment is said to be running a monitoring team and collecting posts that could damage the reputation of Jang Wonyoung and other artists.
