NCT Yuta Stars in Japanese Movie 'HiGH&LOW The Worst X'
NCT fans, NCTzens, are in for a treat as it was announced on April 21 local time that NCT member Yuta is set to kick off his acting career by making his debut as Yuta Nakamoto in the new movie installment of the popular Japanese franchise, "HiGH&LOW."
On the same day, a trailer for the installment "HiGH&LOW The Worst X" was shared on the franchise's official Youtube channel.
In the trailer, Yuta can be seen donning a red suit as he performs numerous fighting scenes in what is expected to be an action-packed movie.

"HiGH&LOW The Worst X" will serve as the sequel to the 2019 movie "HiGH&LOW The Worst," where Yuta will be challenging himself by playing the role of the movie's main antagonist Ryo Susaki, the leader of the gang of Senomon Industrial High School, as he battles it out with Oya High School.
Ditching his microphone this time, Yuta will be starring in the movie alongside THE RAMPAGE member Kazuma Kawamura and BE:FIRST member Ryoki.

Regarding his acting debut, the NCT member said:
"To start off, I was genuinely happy when I heard about this work. [The franchise] was a work I had known since the beginning."

He added that despite being worried as he is starring in an action movie, he still wanted to take on the challenge. He said:
"I was worried because this is my firs attempt at acting [an action movie]. But when the filming started, [my] co-actors and directors kindly gave me advice, which was a great learning experience. Above all, I enjoyed it."
He concluded:
"I was able to take on the challenge of filming [a movie]. I hope many people will watch it."

Meanwhile, this will mark Yuta as the third NCT member to make his acting debut, following after fellow members Jaehyun and Doyoung, and is set to establish his new image as a rising actor this year.
"HiGH&LOW The Worst X," which centers around the collective artists under LDH Japan associated with EXILE, known as EXILE TRIBE, will be premiering in select theaters across Japan on September 9 JST of this year.
