Most Popular Singers April 2022: BTS, BIGBANG, More!

On April 23 KST, the Korean Business Research Institute revealed the brand reputation rankings for singers for the month of April this year. From BTS to BIGBANG, keep on reading to know the full list of the most popular singers for this month!

BTS is the No. 1 Most Popular Singer in April 2022

Maintaining their spot at the top of this month's brand reputation rankings for singers is seven-piece boy group, BTS!

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, the "Permission to Dance" performers had accumulated a total brand reputation index of 10,896,707 for the month of April. More specifically, they amassed a participation index of 2,092,877, a media index of 3,504,697, a communication index of 2,988,216, and a community index of 2,310,066.

Compared to the brand reputation index BTS amassed back in March with 9,536,463, the group saw an increase of 14.26 percent for this month.

Following behind at second place for the month of April is second-generation boy group, BIGBANG!

For this month, BIGBANG amassed a total brand reputation index of 9,163,979, along with a participation index of 1,802,526, a media index of 2,788,341, a communication index of 2,678,161, and a community index of 1,894,950.

BIGBANG was newly included in the brand reputation index for singers.

Coming in at third place for another month is the ever popular trot singer Lim Young Woong!

For the month of April, Lim Young Woong garnered a brand reputation index of 8,161,142. He has a participation index of 3,075,887, a media index of 2,075,924, a communication index of 1,510,000, and a community index of 1,499,282.

This month, Lim Young Woong continues to see an increase with 17.01 percent compared to his index of 6,975,033 in March.

Rising to the top ranks as the fourth most popular singer is "TOMBOY" hitmakers, (G)I-DLE!

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, the (G)I-DLE had garnered a total brand reputation index of 5,263,775 for this month, with a participation index of 596,768, a media index of 938,636, a communication index of 1,898,939, and a community index of 1,829,432.

Compared to the brand reputation index of 3,206,271 they garnered back in March, this month they rose by 64.17%.

Finally, making it within the top five is rookie group and rising K-Pop stars, IVE!

For this month, IVE has a brand reputation index of 3,990,877, with a participation index of 852,871, a media index of 1,625,275, a communication index of 726,313, and a community index of 786,418.

Compared to the group's brand reputation index of 1,180,928 in March, IVE saw an increase of a whopping 237.94 percent this month.
