SEVENTEEN's 'Face the Sun' Now Holds Record for Fifth Highest Pre-Orders in History

On May 3, the album distributor YG PLUS announced that SEVENTEEN's fourth full album "Face the Sun" has exceeded 1,740,000 pre-orders, implying a new career-high for the boy group.

Impressively, this figure was calculated in only a week since "Face the Sun" was made available for stock pre-orders.

Compared to SEVENTEEN's last mini-album "Attacca," the pre-order amount for "Face the Sun" shows 300,000 copies more. "Attacca" achieved 1.4 million pre-orders in September of last year, setting the highest record for the group. It can also be recalled that "Attacca" earned the band their fifth consecutive "million-seller" title and their second one in 2021, apart from their eighth mini-album "Your Choice."

With "Face the Sun" surpassing 1.7 million pre-orders in just a week, SEVENTEEN is likely to score their sixth consecutive million-seller title.
