NCT Johnny Makes Red Carpet Appearance at the 2022 Met Gala

Back in May 2019, NCT member Johnny, who is the group's resident fashionista, shared a couple of photos on NCT 127's official Twitter account. It features him and fellow member Taeyong in Chicago as they show off their "Met Gala" looks.

The photos were shared a day after the 2019 Met Gala was held on May 7, and was in honor of the event. Johnny said in his caption, "What a day for fashion," along with the hashtags #johnnysfashionevaluation and #MetGala

Now, nearly three years later, Johnny was confirmed to make his debut at the 2022 Met Gala held on May 2 local time at Manhattan's Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, with the theme "In America: An Anthology of Fashion."

On May 2 local time, Johnny teased fans with his appearance at the Met Gala by updating his social media with videos of him getting ready for the star-studded event.

Ahead of his actual red carpet appearance, numerous videos of the idol with his red carpet look was also shared from various accounts.

In these photos and videos, Johnny can be seen donning an all-black ensemble by New York-based designer Peter Do.
