iKON Bobby Reveals If He Changed After Getting Married
On May 3, iKON finally made their long-awaited return with their new mini-album "FLASHBACK," which is the group's first album in more than two years since "I Decide" arrived in February 2020.

iKON held a press conference on the same day at YG Entertainment's headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul to celebrate the release of "FLASHBACK."

During the event, iKON member Bobby was given a question related to his marriage. He was asked whether something changed about him after he tied the knot and had his first baby.
The "LOVE SCENARIO" rapper answered, "I believe that my identity as iKON's Bobby and as the person Kim Jiwon (his real name) are separated."

Although iKON Bobby and Kim Jiwon are two different people, the male idol reassured that "nothing has changed" about him overall.
He added, "I'm giving my best effort without holding anything back."

While no changes happened to Bobby, iKON saw a big change particularly in their music style that can be seen in "FLASHBACK."
Bobby said, "This album contains songs that are definitely reminiscent of iKON's past style, but it also features genres that are comparatively new."

He continued, "We believe that our fans will understand the meaning behind the album's title 'FLASHBACK' just by listening to the entire album."

The rapper finally said that iKON will strive to become a group that continues to see new styles and trends in the music scene.
In August of last year, iKON Bobby announced his plan to get married, although he didn't specify when the event would take place. But he did reveal that he and his fiancée will welcome their first child in September. His fiancée gave birth to a baby boy on Sept. 27.

Meanwhile, iKON is back with their new mini-album "FLASHBACK," which consists of six songs including the title track "BUT YOU."

iKON's "FLASHBACK" and "BUT YOU" quickly received support from fans all over the world, soaring to music charts right after its release.
In particular, 'FLASHBACK" impressively debuted at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and No. 2 on the European iTunes Album Chart.

"BUT YOU" landed at No. 23 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart while some of the B-side songs follow. "For Real" debuted at No. 70, "Name" at No. 79, and "Dragon" at No. 92.
Moreover, iKON's "FLASHBACK" had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Album charts in at least 20 countries as of the morning of May 4, including Japan, Brazil, Indonesia, Macau, Russia, Turkey, New Zealand, and more. It even peaked at No. 7 in the United States.
