SHINee Onew's 'DICE' Reigns as 'Coolest' K-pop Music Video in First Half of 2022

On May 5, Mubeat's Weekly Choice powered by Korean media outlet Daily Sports and global platform Mubeat revealed the results of its survey, "What is the coolest MV?"

The survey was held from April 28 to May 4, and among K-pop music videos released in the first half of 2022, ONEW's "Dice" was hailed as the best music video chosen by K-pop fans all over the world!

The "DICE" MV completed with overwhelming points of 154,332 votes, half of the total 333,878 votes.

In particular, "DICE" is the title track of SHINee Onew's second mini-album with the same name, released on April 11.

Aside from the Onew's unique vocal tone that resonates perfectly with the genre retro-city pop track, the MV is also fun to watch.

Although the sound gives off the 70s era, the music video features trendy summer vibes, where Onew subtly toured viewers in a luxury hotel, showing the swimming pool, kitchen, corridors, rooms and banquet halls.

The high-quality MV showed the members in their goddess-like visuals amid the apocalypse. The story will make you feel like watching a Sci-Fi movie, where the main characters warn humans to act now before the destruction of the Earth.

Meanwhile, Shortly after its release, "MAISON" topped iTunes' top songs and top album charts.

Third is Red Velvet's "Feel My Rhythm" MV. The song sampled Bach's "Air on the G-String," and also showcased art in the music video.
