EXO Chen Serenades Aeris With His Song 'Hold You Tight'
On May 11, EXO Chen, who came back after finishing his military service last month, presented a sweet song for EXO-Ls (EXO fandom, also called Aeri).
On his personal YouTube channel, which was last updated in June 2020, the main vocalist made his official return on the platform after uploading a studio cover of his song, "Hold You Tight."
The mellow song is a romantic confession song released by EXO Chen in October 2019 as part of his second mini-album, "Dear my dear." The lyrics contain beautiful words that convey love and affection.

The idol's comeback on YouTube in about two years became more special as he dedicated the song to his fans, especially Aeris who patiently waited for his return.
He also wrote a short yet sweet message to fans, saying:
"I hope for a cozy and warm spring for you."
In the video then, the "Good Night" singer captivated fans' hearts by showcasing his sweet voice. Chen, who has an excellent sense of rhythm, not only easily digests high notes but also draws attention because he is good at empathizing with the song.
He didn't only bless listeners' ears but warmed their hearts with his sincerity in conveying the message of the track.
Some fans also acknowledged Chen's unrelenting visuals, which seemed to have gotten better after his military service.
EXO Chen Resumes Idol Activities, To Join SMTOWN Concert
As Chen officially marks the resumption of his idol activities through his new YouTube video, K-pop fans who are looking forward to his future schedule also increased.
First, the EXO main vocalist will meet his fans on July 9 as a headliner at HallyuPopfest in London, along with soloist and EXO Kai.
Also, Chen, who has not met his fans for a long time to fulfill his military duties, is scheduled to attend the SMTOWN Tokyo concert, "SMTOWN Live 2022: SMCU Express @ Tokyo" in August. It will also be his first stage with co-EXO members including Kai and Suho.
On the other hand, Chen attracts more attention from the K-pop scene as he is one of the idols who is already a husband and father yet still decided to remain an active idol.
In 2020, he announced his marriage and wife's pregnancy to the general public and reported the birth of his daughter in April of the same year.
In January 2022, the "Beautiful Goodbye" singer became a father of two after his wife delivered their second baby, whose gender is not revealed.
