TXT Becomes the Third K-Pop Artist to Chart on Billboard 200 for Two Consecutive Weeks

On May 29 local time, Billboard announced that TXT's fourth mini album "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" has successfully maintained their spot within the top 10 of their famous top 200 album charts, Billboard 200, for their second week in a row.

For the Billboard 200 chart dated May 26, the album continues its run in the top 10 by charting at No. 9 for the week.

According to Luminate (formerly known as MRC Data), "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" had sold a total of 30,500 equivalent album units in the United States for the second week.

In the previous week, the five-piece boy group had achieved their highest ranking on Billboard 200, with "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" entering the chart for the first time and landing at No. 4 in its first week.

With TXT's latest achievement with "minisode 2: Thursday's Child," this marks the group as the second male K-Pop artist and the third over K-Pop artist in history to have an album chart within the top 10 of Billboard 200 for two weeks in a row.

This milestone was previously achieved by fellow Big Hit Music labelmate BTS and YG Entertainment's four-piece girl group BLACKPINK.

TXT's 2021 album "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" had also spent two weeks on the Billboard 200 chart at the time of its release. However, it did not chart for two weeks in a row.

Meanwhile, "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" features a total of five tracks: the title track "Good Boy Gone Bad," "Opening Sequence," "Trust Fund Baby," "Lonely Boy," and "Thursday's Child Has Far to Go."

Aside from Billboard 200, "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" had also charted No. 1 on Billboard's World Albums chart, Gaon's Album chart in Korea, and Oricon's Album chart in Japan.

TXT to Make Appearance on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show'

In other news, TXT is set to make their first ever guest appearance on the NBC talk show "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

According to the schedule released by "The Kelly Clarkson Show," TXT is set to perform as the guests for their May 31 broadcast.

With their appearance, it is highly likely that TXT will be showcasing a powerful performance of their latest title song "Good Boy Gone Bad."
