At approximately 3:30 a.m. KST on May 31, BTS Jungkook was seen removing all his posts on his personal Instagram account. One ARMY took to Twitter to share a screen record of the idol deleting his pictures and videos one after another.

While it is unclear whether Jungkook did delete all of his Instagram photos and videos or just archived them, one thing is for sure, nothing can be seen on his page to date apart from his profile picture.

Since the BTS members launched their personal Instagram accounts in December of last year, Jungkook has been actively engaging with fans on the social media platform, uploading selfies and videos of him singing and dancing, and making Instagram stories.
And because of his sudden activity on Instagram, ARMYs couldn't help but ask why he left nothing on his page. In fact, the keyword "Jungkook" is currently trending on Twitter as many fans talk about his Instagram posts being deleted (or archived).
Usually, singers deleting their Instagram posts means that a new era is approaching, and it typically comes with the release of a new song or album. And once their new project is out, all pictures and videos come back with new uploads. Sometimes, it simply means that they want to have a fresh start.

Coincidentally, BTS is currently releasing teasers for their June comeback with their "Proof" album, so it could mean that Jungkook is preparing for their upcoming return. But he could also be hinting at the release of his highly-awaited JJK1 mixtape, which he has been teasing for the past few years.
Whatever the real reason for BTS Jungkook's Instagram photos and videos being deleted or archived, ARMYs will surely wait for what the idol has in store for them.

On May 21, Jungkook uploaded a new video showing his close-up shot. The clip surpassed 1.6 million likes and three million views in only 30 minutes after it was shared. It then reached 10 million views in just three hours, becoming the fastest Asian artist to achieve the feat.

The video went on to garner 20 million views after 11 hours and 35 minutes, making BTS Jungkook the second fastest person in the world and the fastest Asian in history to hit the mark. He now comes behind Cristiano Ronaldo who obtained the milestone in just two hours.

Jungkook's position was previously held by his fellow BTS member V, who accumulated 20 million views for an Instagram video in 13 hours.
After 24 hours of its release, the video crossed 29 million views and eventually reached 30 million views in 25 hours and 30 minutes. Then, in two days, the clip had over 32.5 million views.
