She was a skilled young ballet student in Japan before she moved to Korea to become a K-pop trainee.
BTS Jimin
Another K-pop idol best known for taking ballet lessons is BTS Jimin. While attending Busan High School of Arts, the "Butter" singer took various classes, one of which was a contemporary ballet course. Not to mention, he was one of the top performers in the school's modern dance department.
EXO Kai
EXO Kai has had an interest in dancing ever since he was a child. At the age of 8, he started learning the art of jazz dance. He was then inspired to learn ballet during the third grade after watching the movie "The Nutcracker."
Apink Namjoo
Besides TWICE Mina, another female K-pop idol who possesses knowledge in ballet is Apink Namjoo. She once showcased her ballet skills at Apink's "Pink Party" back in December 2016. At that time, she performed a ballet routine as the introduction to a cover of Britney Spears' "Toxic."
NCT Renjun
Unlike the other K-pop idols on our list who spent years learning ballet, NCT Renjun only learned the dance for two months.

Former Lovelyz member Yein took various dance classes prior to debut. Ballet is one of her specialities, which explains her grateful dancing on stage.

LE SSERAFIM Kazuha
LE SSERAFIM Kazuha is the newest addition to the list of K-pop idols who did ballet. The Japanese member was a professional ballet dancer before being added to the debut lineup of Source Music's new girl group. She began learning ballet at three years old, and is said to have been trained at Bolshoi Ballet Academy and the Royal Ballet School in the United Kingdom - two of the best ballet schools in the world.
