Every K-pop group will always have the youngest member. And now that the fourth generation of K-pop has started, the maknaes are born in early to late 2000s, unlike in the previous generations where the maknaes are usually born in late 1990s. Here's a list of some of the youngest members of the K-pop groups who debuted in 2021-22.

Leeseo, who is IVE's maknae and vocalist, was born on Feb. 21, 2007, so that makes her 15 years old to date. As the youngest member in the group, she can do aegyo very well, and the members call her "baby." Additionally, she knows most of the latest trends, and one of those is saying "I'd say" in the beginning of a sentence often.

NMIXX Kyujin

Kyujin was born on May 26, 2006, which means she is 15 years old to date - and that's what makes her the youngest member in NMIXX. Besides being the maknae, she is also a rapper, vocalist, and dancer of the new JYP girl group.

We also have here a fourth-generation maknae from Yuehua Entertainment, particularly the youngest member in TEMPEST - and that's Tarae. He was born on May 9, 2002, so he is currently 20 years old. He is known to be an alumnus of Sehyeon High School.

In LE SSERAFIM, Hong Eunchae is the youngest member, having been born on Nov. 10, 2006. She is only 16 years old to date. She is also part of the group's vocal and dance lines. This rookie idol is said to resemble Red Velvet's maknae Yeri (also known as Kim Yerim).

Having been born on Aug. 22, 2005, Yeseo is the youngest member in Kep1er. She is 16 years old and will turn 17 soon. She currently attends Lila Arts High School, along with her bandmate Huening Bahiyyih.

Another 16-year-old fourth-generation maknae on our list is TRI.BE Mire, who was born on March 26, 2006. She is the main dancer and sub-vocalist of the rookie girl group as well. Additionally, she is the only Japanese member.
