BTS RM Flaunts New Tattoo in Latest Instagram Post
On June 10 KST, on the same day BTS made their comeback with their first anthology album "Proof," the group's leader RM took to his personal Instagram account to flaunt, what appears to be, his new tattoo!
Over on his Instagram Stories, RM shared a photo of his tattoo, which is a simple number "7" inked on his inner right ankle.
This makes him the third BTS member to officially reveal his tattoos, as fellow members Jimin and Jungkook were the only known members to have a tattoo within the group.

Upon finding out that RM is now inked like two of his fellow members, BTS fans, ARMYs, couldn't help but go into a frenzy at the new-found information.
Many also shared their own theories behind the meaning of the tattoo on their own social media.
On Twitter, fans theorize that the number "7" could represent the seven members of BTS. While others think that this may be a reference to the group's fourth Korean studio album "Map of the Soul: 7," released in February 2020.

But in light of all the excitement for RM's new tattoo, many couldn't help but think that this is the friendship tattoo that the BTS members said they would be getting!

Back in April, member V revealed during a spontaneous Q&A session on Weverse that he and BTS were planning to get a friendship tattoo one day, although he didn't specify what kind of tattoo and when they would be getting it.
"The members and I have always talked about getting a friendship tattoo. We are going to get a friendship tattoo one day. Look forward to it," V said.
He later revealed that it was Suga who suggested the idea of friendship tattoos, and since then, the members have been enthusiastic with the idea.
Now, ARMYs can't help but wonder if the six other members have the same tattoos. Some fans even theorized that while the members have a number "7" tattooed on them, it would be in different styles using the album cover of "Map of the Soul: 7."
