DAWN Reveals Reason for Going Shirtless During Performance With HyunA at Music Festival
Recently, DAWN made a guest appearance on the June 16 broadcast of SBS Power FM's radio program "Cultwo Show." DAWN appeared alongside comedian Kwak Beom for the show's challenge corner.
During his appearance, host Kim Tae Kyun introduced the idol as someone "who is famous as HyunA's boyfriend." He then complimented DAWN's outfit, who was wearing a bear-shaped hat, black gloves, and a black backpack, and told him, "You dressed up cutely today."

DAWN then explained the reasoning behind his "cute" outfit, saying, "I was supposed to change my clothes before I came here, but my first schedule today was a dance recording. There was not much time after I finished that schedule, so I just came here [dressed like this] right away."
He continued, "I thought it wouldn't be too embarrassing. But then reality hit me when I saw girl group members at the broadcasting station. I was so embarrassed," drawing laughter from the hosts.

DAWN was asked if he felt hot in his outfit, but the idol said it was cool in the station. Although wearing the gloves and backpack was less embarrassing as he had KF94 masks, which he described as "really necessary these days."
He then mentioned that after promoting for "Ping Pong," which he released with HyunA, he suddenly felt the need to produce new songs.
"While taking a rest after promotions when 'Ping Pong' ended, I suddenly thought, 'I shouldn't be like this. I may disappear if I rest for too long,' and then I worked hard on producing new songs," DAWN said.

The hosts then talked about DAWN's recent surprise on-stage appearance during HyunA's performance at a university music festival. In particular, not only did DAWN have an impromptu performance, but he also took of his shirt, which went viral.
Regarding this, DAWN explained why he did so, saying, "I told [HyunA] that I didn't want to [take of my shirt]. I said, 'Don't make me take off my top. I won't do it.' But she kept telling me to do so. She kept asking and I kept refusing. Then, HyunA gathered all of the dancers and told them to take my top off."
