A member of a girl group had internet users shocked when people realized she would turn 25 years old (Korean age) in 2031.
On June 15, the Facebook page "Time Hook Page" (literal translation) shared a photo of a famous female idol with the caption "An idol who will turn 25 years old in 2031."

As soon as the post was uploaded, it received massive attention from many. People took to the comments to share their reactions, some being just mildly surprised while others stated that it was "unbelievable" that idols nowadays are so young.

The idol in question is Leeseo, a member of the popular group IVE!

Born in 2007, Leeseo is a 16 years old (Korean age) junior high school student. In 2016, Leeseo was a member of SM Entertainment's Kids Model 1st Generation. In 2019, she was street cast by Starship Entertainment. At the time, she was only in the sixth grade.
She then debuted with IVE in December 2021 after training under Starship Entertainment for about two years.

Leeseo is the maknae (youngest member) of IVE and has several nicknames that highlight her youthfulness. Some of her popular nicknames include "Baby Leeseo," "Baby Tiger," "Princess Leeseo," "Vitamin," and "Maknaeng-i."
On top of being a member of a popular idol group, Leeseo is considered an idol representing the MZ Generation.
IVE Leeseo's Unique Pre-Debut History
Leeseo has a unique story during her pre-debut days, which helped boost her popularity.
In April 2022, IVE appeared on the YouTube channel "MMTG." While there, Leeseo talks about how she kissed actress Han Hyo Joo on the street when she was a baby.

When this happened, Han Hyo Joo was filming SBS's "Midnight TV Entertainment" on August 5, 2009. During the broadcast, Han Hyo Joo was seen kissing a three-year-old girl who happened to be on the street. The girl was in her mother's arms, and the actress kissed the little girl to show her adoration and affection.

Jaejae asked if Leeseo remembered this moment, to which she confessed she does not recall it but has been told the story several times. Who would have known just 13 years after, Leeseo would be in the spotlight as a member of a famous K-pop girl group?
