NCT Jeno, BLACKPINK Lisa Crowned 'Best K-pop Idol Rapper' in First Half of 2022

In particular, the rankings were released by the global fandom platform "Fantoo" on June 25 after a month since the opening of the poll on May 30.

The title, "Best K-pop Idol Rapper," aims to determine the male and female artists who received a lot of love and support from global fandom in the first half of 2022 for their rapping skills.

The voting ran until June 8, and among 100 nominees in each category, NCT Jeno and BLACKPINK Lisa rose to the top.

In the male category, Jeno secured his spot in first place with 30.36% of the votes. On the other hand, Lisa gained 33.37% of the votes for the female category.

According to Fantoo, 100 top artists from all generations nominated. The survery garnered more than 270 million votes were gathered, proving the popularity of K-pop on a global scale.

Jeno exhibits his incredible rapping skills as one of the main rappers of NCT Dream. The "Hot Sauce" singer is often praised for his unique flow, speed, and style. He is definitely worthy of the title "Best Male K-pop Idol Rapper."

On the other hand, Lisa is not only famous by name but also because of her top-tier rapping skills. She particularly proved her incredible abilities through the release of her solo debut tracks, "LALISA" and "MONEY."

K-pop enthusiasts comment that the BLACKPINK rapper doesn't only have impressive speed and flow, but her genuine style and delivery are also praiseworthy. On top of that, she also performs Korean lyrics with perfect diction even though she is from Thailand.

Top 3 K-pop's Best Rappers in Male, Female Category: NCT Mark, (G)I-DLE Soyeon, More

Alongside Jeno, same group members Mark and Johnny were named second and third place side by side as K-pop's best idol rappers by Fantoo. This showed NCT's global fandom power.

It is true that NCT Mark is also commendable in terms of rap skills. Fans often praise his addictive and smooth rap flow, great speed, and perfect English diction.

Johnny is also not to be missed! He is a good rapper, on top of being a dancer and singer. He became a hot topic for his rap in "Superhuman," one of the "killing parts" of the whole song.

Lastly, in the women's category, (G)I-DLE Soyeon and TWICE Chaeyoung completed the top 3 rankings for "Best Female K-pop Idol Rappers."

There is no doubt that Soyeon is truly an "all-rounder" star who, on top of composing, producing, and songwriter skills, is also a top K-pop rapper.

Chaeyoung of TWICE is no less than any other idol in terms of rapping as well. Just listen to her earworm rap in "I Can't Stop Me," and you'll know!
