10 Most Viewed STUDIO CHOOM Videos: Stray Kids, ITZY Twice, NMIXX + TXT, aespa
On June 28, the Korean media outlet Jeonbuk Domin Ilbo featured the top 10 STUDIO CHOOM videos with the highest views ranked by the YouTube channel itself.
In particular, STUDIO CHOOM is a channel derived from M2, which belongs to Mnet and specializes in the performance of K-pop idols' title songs and cover songs on YouTube.
The channel is especially frequented by numerous K-pop fans around the world who are interested in idol dances released in high definition and were professionally edited.
Starting with the No.1 most viewed video from STUDIO CHOOM, JYP boy group Stray Kids cemented their impact as they ranked first with 57. 8 million views for its "God's Menu" group performance.
The video was uploaded on June 21, 2020, but even after two years the group's track and choreography remain relevant to K-pop fans' hearts.
TWICE then solidified its status as "3rd-Gen Nation's Girl Group" by securing two videos in the top 10. One of them is their "I CAN'T STOP ME" performance which gained 39M views, ranking 5th place.
The other is their dance clip for "ALCOHOL-FREE," which amassed 34M views, ranking 7th place.
TXT also entered the top 10 in sixth place for their "New Rules" performance. As of writing, the YouTube video reached 35 million views since its release in Nov. 2019.
Moreover, NMIXX joined its senior groups as its STUDIO CHOOM video for "O.O." as it gained the 11th spot for most-viewed performance in the channel after it surpassed 29M views, just four months after it was dropped.
Lastly, in 12th place, aespa secured the place with the performance of its viral dance track, "Next Level" which has 26M views.
ITZY Proves 'K-pop Fourth-Gen Queen' Title With 6 Most Viewed STUDIO CHOOM Videos Out of Top 10
In the rankings, nine songs by JYP Entertainment artists are included in the top 10, but six shockingly belong to ITZY.
Among their group performances, ITZY's "WANNABE [BE ORIGINAL ver.]" ranked second with 55.3 million views, followed by "Not Shy" with 42.6M views in third place.
Their performances of their popular songs, including "LOCO" and "Mafia, In the Morning," also entered the top ten, ranking 8th and 10th place, respectively.
As for their "WANNABE [Full Focuser ver.]," the video which currently has 31M views ranked ninth place.
Furthermore, Yeji, the leader of ITZY, established her reputation as a top-tier idol as her dance cover for "River" is the only video from STUDIO CHOOM's "Artist of the Month" segment that entered the rankings.
As of June 29, the clip had surpassed 42 million views, ranking fourth place.
