7 Times MAMAMOO's Wheein Proved She Is K-pop's Ace

MAMAMOO is known for having amazing vocals and a superb stage presence. One proof is their maknae, Wheein, who Moomoos often dub the 'Ace of K-pop.'

1. Wheein On "King Of Masked Singer"

All of MAMAMOO members have joined "King Of Masked Singer," proving they are indeed vocal powerhouses. With WheeIn, she almost made it at the end if not for a veteran Korean singer being her contender.

In the show, Wheein sang JYP's famous song "Who's Your Mama" and made it her own. She was sick at that time but still killed it.

The panel was amazed by Wheein. After revealing herself, the panel and the audience all calmed down because they thought that it was already a fact that she was a fantastic singer.

2. Wheein First Solo Song "Easy"

MAMAMOO's Wheein released her first solo song back in 2018. Showing her honey vocals and smooth dance skills, Wheein has wowed not only Moomoos but also other K-pop fans.

3. Wheein Featured In Heechul's Song "Narcissus"

Now, this is probably one of the least known collaborations by Wheein, which is too bad. This is one of the best proof that MAMAMOO's Wheein is indeed an ace because even Super Junior's Heechul has noticed her.

A little background, Heechul first saw Wheein perform live in a singing variety show by MBC, "Duet Festival," where Wheein and her partner won and placed first.

4. Wheein "Goodbye"

Solo singer Wheein is more known by the Korean audience as a ballad singer. It is due to her first collaboration with JUNGKEY.

Wheein's vocal range was challenged again as JUNGKEY gave her a high song, which Wheein sang effortlessly.

A little fun fact for all the sapphics out there, MAMAMOO's Wheein's music video for this particular song is LGBT themed. Many Moomoos applaud the ACE member as she has done something unique again.

5. Wheein "Water Color" Performances

MAMAMOO Wheein's third solo song, "Water Color," from her first EP, "Redd," was released on April 13, 2021. It was her last song affiliated with RBW company, and it was a success.

The album "Redd" has so much in it. The songs with different genres and different featuring artists captivated the fans. And all of her performances with different outfits and set-ups really brought happiness and excitement to the fans.
