NewJeans stun on the cover of ELLE Korea's first of its kind, SUPER ELLE. It is a special edition of the magazine where only the rookie girl group will be featured on its 48 pages!

The publication also shared the photos of the girl group members, exhibiting visuals for its September 2022 edition. ELLE Korea also shared a short video of each of NewJeans' members for the photoshoot. The video is a very close-up shot of the members, showing their faces clearly.

Fans React To NewJeans' Magazine Cover

A theqoo post shared the news about the photoshoot of NewJeans for Super ELLE and the final outcome for each of the members. As expected, each NewJeans member got praised for her beauty.

"Wow they're too pretty, Hyein came out so well"

"Wow the kids are all pretty, Danielle looks like some poster from Netflix"

"Hyein's star factor is so huge. She looks like a model, Minji too"

"Wow the kids' charms are insane and all 5 of them are all differently pretty and charming"

NewJeans Members' Commentary on The Magazine

According to a report, inside the magazine are the individual photos of NewJeans with commentary for each of it.

For HYEIN:

"Whenever you see your friends working hard in their respective fields, you admire each other and cheer each other on. I want us to be a group of intimate friends like that."

For DANIELLE:

"My most authentic self appears when I'm doing the work I enjoy. I think it's essential to forget the mindset of perfection and focus on having fun."

For HANNI:

"I get happy whenever I see someone enthusiastically show off our songs. I want to continue to be an artist that fans can confidently say they like."

  For HAERIN:

"Naturalness" is the unchanging identity of NewJeans. i want us to be a team that can only be described by ourselves."

For MINJI:

"In order to do the work you enjoy for a long time, I think you have to move forward with an image that's most true to yourself. I want to promote while staying like this and enjoying myself."

NewJeans Members Open Up About Debuting

There is also a short interview after the photo shoot where an ELLE staff talked to the members. They were asked about the thing that they looked forward to the most before becoming an idol.

Minji said that she really likes music shows. Being able to perform in one is such an honor for her. She also added that she was nervous at first about meeting their fans for the first time. But everything went well so she was really glad.

Their half Vietnamese half Australian member also shared that she was not really good at typing Korean before. It's a good thing that her members are all nice and went out of their way to help her improve on it, she added.

Meanwhile, their maknae Hyein has shared that her unnies (older sisters) are always taking good care of her. They always ask her if she is doing well or if she is feeling well, thanking the members in return.

On the other hand, NewJeans will be performing on Music Bank today. Make sure to not miss that one!
