Korean celebrities usually face heavy scrutiny and criticism from the public when they get entangled in rumors of them undergoing plastic surgery. Because of this, they usually keep quiet and refrain from addressing rumors of them getting procedures, leaving many as speculations despite how obvious it can be.

However, there are some K-pop idols who aren't afraid to be upfront with going under the knife. With that, here are some of the K-pop idols who have admitted to undergoing plastic surgery!

1. Super Junior Heechul

When Super Junior member Heechul was serving his mandatory military duty as a public service officer, he became involved in a traffic accident which resulted in him needing to have his nose repaired. After undergoing surgery, he found his nose was flatter than it had been before. In order to fix it, Heechul decided to undergo a nose job to get its original shape.

2. DIA Jung Chaeyeon

DIA member Jung Chaeyeon revealed that she also got plastic surgery. During her guest appearance on MBC's variety program Video Star back in 2016, the hosts had asked if she got a double eyelid surgery.

Jung Chaeyeon denied this, and revealed that she got a nose job instead.

3. MOMOLAND JooE

Over the years, fans have noticed a big transformation with JooE. The MOMOLAND member had revealed during a guest appearance on JTBC's show Knowing Bros back in 2018 that she also got her nose done. In fact, she even revealed that she removed the cartilage in her right year to use it for her nose job!

She even joked that if she is picking her nose, she is also picking her ear.

4. Hwang Kwanghee

Former ZE:A member Hwang Kwanghee also had some drastic transformation. He had admitted to getting silicon inserted in his forehead and chin, had a nose job, and got dental veneers. Hwang Kwanghee even admitted that the only place he didn't get any plastic surgery on was his cheekbones.

5. Super Junior Kyuhyun

Unlike most K-pop idols' reasons for getting plastic surgery, Super Junior member Kyuhyun has an interesting reason. He had once revealed that both of his parents were born with double eyelids, while Kyuhyun himself did not. He decided to opt for double eyelid surgery to have similar eyes with his parents.

Former SISTAR member Soyou also underwent the knife and got a nose job. However, the reason for her getting plastic surgery was due to her receiving hateful comments regarding her looks. The immense public pressure led to the decline of her mental health, which eventually forced her to get a nose job.

7. Jessi

Jessi is well-known in the industry for always speaking her mind, and she is not afraid to open up about her adventures with plastic surgery. Some of the procedures that she has undergone include a nose job, lip fillers, double eyelid surgery, as well as breast augmentation.
